Sell Fries: How to Serve Customers (Handoff Steps and Sale Check)

Carry your cooked fries to the customer waiting at the counter, press E to sell, and confirm the payout on your cash counter — the full serving sequence.

Serving a customer in Sell Fries is a direct handoff. Once your fries are cooked, walk up to the customer waiting at your shop counter, press E to give them the fries, and the game registers the sale on the spot: your cash counter goes up — recorded runs paid out 20 and 22 cash — and your appeal increases with it. There is no order menu or dialogue to work through; the handoff itself is the transaction, so the whole step takes seconds once you are standing in front of the customer.

This is also an official stage of the game loop, not a side activity: the Roblox listing for Sell Fries! [Anomaly] by Pharting puts "💰 Serve Customers!" between "🍟 Make Fries!" and "⬆️ Upgrade your Kitchen!" — serving is where your cooking turns into money.

Have cooked fries ready first

The serving sequence starts at the fryer, not the counter. In the recorded run, the player presses E at the fryer to cook, then carries the finished fries over to the customer. If you have nothing prepared yet, follow the how to make fries guide first and come back — everything below picks up the moment the food is ready.

How to serve a customer

  1. Cook the fries. Press E at the fryer to cook your potatoes. The full preparation recipe belongs to the make-fries guide, not this step.
  2. Find the waiting customer at the shop counter. They will not wait all day — the narrated run allows "like 50 seconds to really let him leave." Treat that as an approximate timer from one recorded session and head over promptly.
  3. Hand over the fries. Walk up to the customer and press E to give them the fries and sell them. On a device without a keyboard, use your device's visible interaction prompt.
  4. Check your cash. The payout lands immediately — 20 cash in one narrated run, 22 cash in a second recorded run.

The cue that the sale worked

Cash is the confirmation. The community wiki compresses the whole step into one instruction — "Deliver to a customer and check cash" — and describes what you are looking for as "a completed sale and a changed cash balance." The recorded runs match: right after the handoff, the money arrives ("Now we get the money 20 money cash"). A served customer also raises your appeal — the walkthrough ties the handoff to an "increase your appeal" moment — but the number to watch is your cash.

One caveat before you budget around it: the payout is not a fixed price per customer. The two recorded runs paid 20 and 22 cash, and nothing in them establishes what drives the difference, so treat any single payout as a data point rather than a set rate.

Sell bigger batches while a customer waits

The handoff pays more when you carry more. As the beginner guide puts it: "frying more fries allows you to collect a bigger batch to sell to customers, earning you a good amount of cash in return. So, if a customer's waiting time is still long, use that opportunity to cook more fries and collect as many as you can." In practice: if the customer is still patient and your batch is small, another run through the fryer beats selling immediately.

Later, the fries shooter serves for you

Hand delivery is the default serving method for most of the game. Late in a run you can buy the fries shooter — "This machine automatically serves fries to waiting customers, so you no longer have to hand them over manually" — which frees you to keep collecting potatoes instead of minding the counter. Either way, every sale comes back to the same exchange this page covers: fries into a customer's hands, cash into yours.
